Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club is launching a scratch best-of-five singles tournament with no age limit, starting Sunday, 18 November.

Subject to 16 entries, the winner will pocket £100.

Chandler’s Ford is situated just off the M3 between Winchester and Southampton.

Difficult to say after, just one day, but it is what the top players down here have been demanding for ages.

sounds a great idea cos there aint many pro ams about but the only down side i can see is its being run on the same weekend as the pro ticket tour event 2

It is amazing how choc-a-bloc the snooker calendar is, which, I suppose, is no bad thing.
