Ferrules

how do you know what type of ferrule to buy for your cue?
or does it not matter and can you buy any type of ferrule e.g screw on or stick ons.

i have found some thread ferrules however the previous ferrules were not threaded will this make a difference?

The screw on ferrules are much better as they give more accurate and stronger bond.All the top cuemakers use the screw on type ferrules.

but can you use screw on ferrules on any cue or does it have to be a certain type of cue?

for instance my current cue had a glue on ferrule does that matter?

Threaded ferrule will be fine for you mate.
