I've just listed my Trevor White cue on ebay. If anyone on here is interested it really is a stunning cue. Maple shafted, 3/4 joined, 17.25oz, 57.75in, 9.3mm tip and the join is at 17in (not the usual 16in) and the balance point is between 17.25 and 17.5in. Its a slim but stiff shaft and the maple is perfect, very light and blemish free and like most Trevor White cues is silky smooth.

I'm only selling because thanks to Adr147 I am now using a Trevor White one piece ash cue!!

I just tried to copy the link from ebay.......?? Ahhh.....just sorted it, sorry, it now works!!

Trevor let me have the cue for a special price of £275 so I'm just looking to get my money back as I've had to pay out for the latest ash cue.

It does look a very nice cue. I have to say I'm more than happy with my JP Special, which apart from the wood used has a very similar spec. (3/4 joint 17.75 oz, 57.5", 9.5mm tip, ash shaft), but every so often I hanker after a maple....

My very first cue, bought around 1975, was an Adam Custom with a metal centre joint and maple shaft, which I still have. I used that until 1997 when I bought an Aeon, which was my first ash cue and took many months to get used to. I perservered with it for about 6 years, but eventually realised that at 20oz it was too heavy for me, and bought my JP on eBay which I've used now for the past 5 years.

However, I have to admit I'm tempted by the idea of a maple again. Out of interest, is the SD joint in the butt the same screw thread as that used by JP, and would it therefore be compatible with a JP mini-butt and extension?

No, Trevor uses his own SD joint so you would have to buy any extensions as an extra through Trevor.
