I doubt it, polly filler or no nails by the size of those vcracky would probably help more ;)
To be honest not got a clue the best person for you to ask is Moglet he knows his stuff about tables, wait for him to log in and see this thread, I am sure he will give his advice.

need to see the cue case - the table looks like its not a crack but the glued area has seperated? hard to tell from photo. either way linseed oil is not going to fix it.

i suspect it was made that way in the first place its not one turned piece of wood so all you are doing is cleaning it up and glueing the way they did when them made it. in fact i would think your local cabinet maker would sort that for you very easily.

Rub some PVA wood glue in with your finger and clamp until dry. Any remaining gaps can be filled with Colron colored wax fillers. The cracks are natural shrinkage and unless the become any worse, I wouldn`t worry about them. I have been installing tables for 17 years.

I personally would use the plastic banding which you use on pallets. But that is because I have the tools for tightning these. If you can`t get hold of these, I would suggest the ratchet type straps which you may have seen. You get smaller versions of these which would be ideal. Alternatively you could cut out two pieces of wood to the profile you are clamping and use sash cramps.
