And the winner is ....... Winston

Thanks to everybody who entered the competition and I am sorry that we could not give a prize to everybody that entered.

does that sound ok for question 7:

7.Which player won the most qualifying matches ever to qualify for the World Championship and how many did he win (half a pt for each): Spencer Dunn 11 (in 1993)

Sounds ok, but not totally... ;-)

You forgot to mention 2 other players who also won 11 qualifiying matches in 1993 (in fact, it was in 1992, but for the 1993 World Championships).
I'm almost sure to be the only one who answered this correctly... but another one won the competition...
So, Winston, what was your answer ?
humm... by the way, who is Winston ? ;-)

Maybe Winston could answer that, as he was elected winner of the competition... But he keeps silence, as Ferret does... The (so called) correct answers are still missing... very strange... It's not a big deal anyway, but if you want to do this kind of competition, you don't screw it up by a total lack of transparency... and don't try to do another one if your not able to run it properly !

For the little story, the other players were Ronnie O'Sullivan and John Giles... but who cares ? ;-)

(If Ferret cares, I can tell him where to look for the right answer...)

(Sorry for my awful English..)

I can only go by the questions and answers I was given and it really wouldn't of made any difference, all the same people would of been entered into the draw.

Anybody can be wrong ! ;-)

According to Mr Clive Everton, the three players played 11 qualifying matches...

Anyway...

The most important thing is that Jimmy White won his 4 qualifying matches for the Welsh Open 2009...
