Help With Side Spin

Hi all, can anyone help me iam okay at puttung on back and top spin, but when it comes to side spin iam crap cant understand how it works, then i end up missing the pot, can anyone help, cheers in advance!

hi. firstly i would like to say, that this is purely what i will do, which i dont know if it is the right way or the wrong one. have seen a thread on this being discussed before, but cant remember which one.

When i intend to put side spin on the ball, i will aim the ball as i would always. and then, depending on which side i intend to hit on, i will then shift my body towards the same direction (eg if i hit left spin, i will shift my body to the left a little).

well, i may be wrong, so maybe someone else with the technical expertise can correct me as well. :p

If your hitting the ball pretty hard or if the cueball and object are close then side should effect the pot. but as above on a long/soft'ish pot just adjust aim in opposite direction

You put it on the opposite side you want it to come off. :p
