Thanks Matt - I see them now but not much help when you don't know what region you will be in. For the PTT Jamie is in Northern at Leeds and we pass players from Birmingham on our way up when they are heading down South.

Bit of a shame Maria & Reanne, if both win their first round match, will meet in the second round meaning one of them will be certain not to qulaify for next stages.

I heard from Reanne that Maria beat her 3-2 in the match, not sure how far Maria got after that.

I believe that Lee Shanker and Kyren Wilson qualified from the East Midlands at Willie Thornes, Leicester.
Nottingham's Gary Spencer beat James Jelley 4-2 but then lost to Wilson 4-0.
Barry Stark lost out on a re-spotted black to fellow Nottingham player Steve Judd 4-3!

All results and qualifiers are on EASB website now.
Isn't it about time they made the qualifiying sections North and South and scrapped the Regionals? The Leeds section was a minefield of big names, but you look at some of the others and they were so much easier. If they were split north and south as for the other events, at least you're making the playing field more even. It is, after all, the biggest EASB event of the season in terms of ranking points.
