Anyone else gets these inline ads

http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/372/inlinead.jpg?

Can they be removed, they can get a bit annoying when popping up suddenly while reading forum. And as I noticed, linked to quite random words.

Yes, this is pretty annoying to be honest. Hopefully it can at least be improved, so it doesn't slow the forum down, if it can't be helped.

Very Very Very Very Very annoying - please get rid asap - if they are meant to make you buy things i reckon they have the opposite effect

There's also a pop-up saying I should pay 12 month subscribtion and don't use ad-blockers, if I don't want to see the ads
(Not posting it as I don't know how to insert pictures to a reply).
Re RG: yes it is also saying I won't be able to log in if I use some blockers.

I guess not gonna be oppening TSF with IE anymore...

I do hope this is all just a glitch, rather than a planned next step in the evolution of TSF.

seems the inline ads have been removed (for now?). the forum is loading a bit slower than it used to, though, but there's not a big difference after all.

It said:

If you wish to block adverts on TSF then you need to pay a subscription on a 12 month basis and not use ad-blockers, use the contact us button for more information. Your page request, username and IP have been stored in our database, it is suggested that you disable any ad-blockers you have installed to prevent any punitive action.

Seems to be running much better now.

Maybe the new advertising on here was being tweaked.

How exactly does this banner work? Does it vary depending on the user? Because I have just been advertised "low cost adult toys deals" which surely isn't appropriate for every member?

I also fine it funny that the words thing thinks that I would rather buy "Bongo"'s than anything snooker related :D

Aaah, boo, my ad is so dull, tediously dull, absolutely drab and awful!!:D
(Recognise the quotation? Noel? ;) )
Wants me to try an IQ test. In Romanian. With some iffy characters, too. Oh, my! Should I be worried?:D:D
