I am looking for a Snooker Club in the UK that has a match table with atleast 40 seats around it.
If your local club meets the above criteria then please post up your clubs details.

BCI Snooker Centre has a match table with seating for over 40 spectators. The table itself is good quality with steel block cushions and professional lighting which makes it suitable for filming on. You can see it in action HERE (http://www.youtube.com/nottinghamsnooker#p/c/7A6F97F4489E62DA/0/tuwBJQvOhPQ).
The club is situated just off High Road, Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 8YL. The man in charge is Peter Trout and the club's phone number is 0115 927 8927.

That looks perfect for what I want, do they hold many competitions at the club? and do you know how many tables in total they have?
If anybody know of a club in the Cardiff area with over 12 tables I would be interested in some info.

The club has 9 tables in total, 7 downstairs (including the match table) and 2 upstairs. All of the tables are good quality and well maintained.
We have held BCI Open tournaments at the club in recent months and the club also holds plenty of in-house tournaments. The local leagues hold their finals there due to the quality of the match table and it's ample seating for spectators. There is a licensed bar in a separate room and the prices are reasonable. There is a large free car park just over the road from the club. The club doesn't do food but there are some good eateries nearby.
I am also a qualified referee who is available free of charge if required (I'm in the video).
If you phone the club and speak to Peter, please tell him you got his details from me. He is usually at the club most evenings after about 9pm.

Would agree Northern Snooker Centre is an excellent venue, the match table has seating around it and is set into a pit so you can get easy about another 80 stood above it. Also the club has excellent facilities. A lot of the EASB comps are held here.

I can let you all know a little more info now as I have 5 clubs in the UK confirmed and 3 confirming by the end of play today.
TSF will be hosting the largest Pro-Am that the UK has even seen, 512 players will battle it out for 10K first prize.
8 clubs will each hold 2 x 32 man qualifying events, both quarter final winners from each qualifying events will get through to the final.
Clubs include, Potters (Newport), Jesters (Swindon), The Masters (Glasgow), The Stephen Hendry Snooker Club (Preston), The Q Bar (Chester), Steven Charles Snooker Centre (Manchester), Chelmsford Snooker Club (Chelmsford), BCI Snooker Centre (Nottingham) as I said 3 of the above are yet to confirm and I will make an official thread about this in the next 48 hours.
Invitations to the professionals are going out tonight, I got 75 pros on my list form the official rankings and those who I do not have contact details for I am sure will hear of it ;) all of the players I have spoken to so far are very interested and have said they will take part but no names until they have paid their entry fees.
Everybody is welcome to enter and indeed goto the clubs taking part and watch some great snooker.
Provisional dates are;
Q1 - 7th February (All Clubs)
Q2 - 7th March (All Clubs)
Final - 4th April (Venue TBC)
Entry fee is £30 per player and applications will be available by the end of the week, entry is on a first come first served basis, if you are knocked out of Q1 and want to enter Q2 you can do so but it has to be at a different club to to where you were knocked out of Q1.
Non pros will get a to play off of 21
At the moment prize money is subject to entry's but I am hoping to have a large betting company who I am in talks with at the moment to underpin the prize money to make it a guaranteed sum.
There will be a prediction contest on TSF for this and some prizes from the other sponsors who I can not name at the moment until the contracts are signed but trust me the people I have spoken to about sponsorship are big names in the game and they will help us to have a great tournament.

Cheers Jonny, yeah the club is quite new opening in March last year but form what I have heard it is well run by Renee who is Stevens daughter and we hope to do some more events at the club this year.
All clubs have now been confirmed apart from our Nottingham venue as the owner is off ill.
All of the confirmed details I hope to have in place by Wednesday evening, including downloadable and online application forms, full club details, dates, prize money and sponsors.
If you run or work for a company you think may be interested in sponsoring the event then please let me know via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. All sponsors will be advertised in Snooker Scene Magazine in February and March and also have a banner placement on the forum for the period of the tournament.

Great Comp Ferret, this is exactly what grass roots snooker in this country needs, keep up the good work. :)
