I have windows 7 and at this present time it is very buggy for playing games with that is why the whole OS you are doing updates either everyday or every otherday, just grit your teeth and bare with it, have you checked online for drivers?

I have installed the game but when it starts it goes off to a black screen and says will try and fix it, but it fails, I have a PC, 1 week old using Win7

I'm not too sure on what caused that problem, I got the game for my laptop but my laptop didn't have the correct graphics card it just stayed on the black screen, I gave up.
Xbox 360 or PS3 are the one for WSC09.

You can get them pre-owned now for near the £100 and the game now pre-owned is only like £10, I only use my laptop for this forum, facebook, msn every now and then and email my relations, google and all that lot is crap utter useless.

Speaking of console games, anyone tried playing billiards( actually I don't know what kind of a billiards game they were playing ) with Nintendo Wii? I didn't, but I'm curious about the gameplay, and would consider buying one only if that cue( whatever it is :D ) feels good :)

I got up to world rank 43 when I played this last night, my highest ranking so far. I achieved this rank mainly for getting to the Quarter finals in the Welsh Open which I narrowly lost to John Higgins. He beat me 2-1 :)
I'm having a bit of a bad run again since that defeat though and I got beat by an 81 ranked player in a qualifyer this morning. I find it a bit unrealistic that every time the AI player makes a mistake, 90% of the time the cue ball ends up being in a safe place with no reds available to pot. This always seems to happen to me for some reason, hence why this 81 ranked player beat me. I tried to get the cue ball safe in the baulk area, but the dam ball hit the brown and I ended up leaving a long red on and the rest was history as they say :)
Still, I'm certainly winning more than I'm losing over the last couple of days play though and I'm finally getting in some high breaks as well. I still can't get anywhere near the century break though. I got a 64 break the other day and that's the closest I've come so far. This is the only snooker game I haven't yet scored a century break
