is there any exhibitions going on in yorkshire region , want to take my son as his interest in snooker is growing rapidly ( taking after his dad ) , he started playing on full size table with his milk crate to hand , and already after just 3 practises , had 70 break ( 10 years old ) on full size , so i would like to show him why you practice practice practice , cheers all

i dont know of any exhibitions in that area but if your son has made a 70 break after only playing 3 times:eek: then he will be up there in the next few years i imagine!!!

Ime sorry but i find that impossible to believe !
After only practicing 3 times your 10 year old son has already got a 70 break ??
maybe you should video it and start showing people in the know

haha the other day i said on here that after 2 and a half months of playing i'd made a 62 and was getting regular 40+ breaks and i got many people doubting that i was telling the truth. This however, is actually unbelievable, if its true then thats quicker progress than just about any professional ever i think.

Why don't you take him to the world qualifiers at The English Institute for Sports at Sheffield from Friday this week. I'm not sure how exciting this will be compared to an exhibition but it may give him an insight into what professionals go through, and I am sure he will enjoy it!!!

well , here is a question , why dont u read between the lines ......... its not the first time he has touched a snooker table , i said first time on full size table . my son has played since he was 4 , from everything to using a dinner knife as a cue and marbles on floor , make believe pockets in corners of living room to playing on his first useless 2ft table from argos ....... :snooker: what really annoys me is that through zero proof reason to doubt , u want me to prove a thread on internet ..... if i did video it , u would say it was camera trickery :snooker: you cant win ,, all i asked is if there are any exhibitions and other than a couple who answered ( thankyou by the way ) you manage to find a thread and take offence by it , simply through jealousy , if its not that , whats wrong with you ????????? he has a 7ft table slate bed etc... inside heated garage and spends hours practising ,,,,,,,, he adores the game , also helps having joe johnson living in same area and i have known him 20 years , so yes there has been some help , but this is a thread asking for exhibitions , not a jeremy kyle show for people who dont like the fact, someone may be better than them at younger age and feel a sense of insecurity ....... do me a favour dont be jealous , practise as hard as he does then have an opinion . sorry all just dont understand why some people so spiteful . thanks mick 142 and thanks snawaz ..

Maybe we are just not good at "reading between the lines" - sorry mate
Altho moving up from a 7ft to a full size table and scoring well is amazing, well done indeed, please keep us informed when he hits his first 100 :)
