Instead of making several announcements over the coming weeks I may as well put everything into one announcement, so here we go.

Power Snooker and TSF

I am sure you are all aware of Power Snooker by now so I will not go into all of the details of the event in this thread but I will tell you a little more about how we will be working with Power Snooker

As you all know I take photographs at the Snooker events through my photography business www.FocusStacked.co.uk, we have teamed up with Power Snooker to be the exclusive image provider for the event in October. I will be taking a two man team to the event to provide images for the media across the world.

Any media who wants images from the event can contact me direct or see the Power Snooker section on the Focus Stacked website which will be in place my Monday the 26th, all images are priced according to the NUJ guidelines.

World Snooker Tickets

I am pleased to announce that TSF will be a official ticket distributor for World Snooker as of Monday 26th July, the first event we will be selling tickets for will be The World Open and we hope to have the shop up and running by the end of next week.

Premier League Snooker Tickets

I am also please to say that we will be a official ticket distributor for The Premier League Snooker also.

TSF in Germany

TSF is launching into Germany next week with a dedicated German speaking forum, the new forum is already up and running but we still have a few tweaks before it is fully ready to launch, you can expect it to be ready to view by Wednesday next week.

TSF into the future

I have been speaking to a company called Big Head Games for awhile now and yesterday I finally had a chance to meet up with them, we are currently in discussion about launching a Snooker game on TSF where members can enter tournaments and play against each other. Do not expect this to be around the corner but I would say this is on the cards for in about 18 months.

I had the chance to chat with Maurice Kelly yesterday who is the chief executive of Rileys, I have been speaking to Rileys over the past 12 months about doing things together with TSF and I can say that within the next few month you will see how this is going to pan out. At this stage I can not say what we will be doing exactly but it will be beneficial to the forum and likewise to Rileys.

Any questions just reply to this thread or send me a PM

Firstly, some brilliant news there mate, the futures very bright for TSF.

As we are the official photo provider for the Pwoer Snooker, will the TSF image be advertise along the side boardings?

And, will you be selling anything else in the shop, apart from tickets?

The advertising we get is in the official press area of the Power Snooker site and all image inquiries get forwarded directly to me. I am yet to discuss advertising at the venue but it will not be something as bog as boards around the table.

To start with the shop will only be for the tickets but there are plans on launching a Snooker shop, infact I could launch the shop next week with over 3,000 products in it but I am going to be leaving that for a month or so yet.

That's ok then mate. Also, with regards to the game you may be launching within 18 months, will it be available to play on the website, or on a different URL?

And, will you be posting the pictures you take at Power Snooker on here, like you usually do, or can you not do that when you're the offical photographer?

Do I understand it correctly that I would need to register for the German forum, Kevin?

I don't know why I thought it would be done like with the podcasts.

I was going to link both of the user databases together but it was alot of work just to link the 300 German members we have on here to the new German forum so yes you will have to register over there also.

All posts in Die snooker lounge on the German site are shared here in the dedicated German section which may help a little.

That explains it more then. I was just confused on TSF.de for a moment seeing as some thread are similiar to ours. I guess I though I was in the German section of TSF.com.

If you have time would you mind shedding some light into the German site?
I thought it was an alredy existing German forum that underwent a transformation. It looks like a newbie, though. :)
Or did the guys over there decided to start anew.
And am I asking too much? :D

The forum is brand new, it has been running for about 6 weeks with a small team getting things ready for the public launch today.

We are trying to get all of the Snooker News onto the site as quickly as possible as other sites in Germany can take days and days to publish news stories. We have a small translation team who translate articles post them onto the forum, we are also translating Dave Hendon's blog into German, not all of it bit the best bits.
