Hi,
Is there a live stream for the qualifiers?
There is Tony Drago v Liam Highfield at 10AM. I watched Liam yesterday on Google Videos he is pretty fast and accurate, should be a cracking game! alas .......... no stream I'm afraid :(

No chance.
Guess it was an entertaining session, Highfield made a century to go 2-1 up, but after that Tony won all remaining frames, so it looks good for him at 6-2. Hopefully the framescores will be available somewhere later on.

even if The equipment was in place commentators and all that by my understanding streaming qualifiers would be out of the hands of Barry Hearn.
110 Sport has the contract to show qualifiers but they not going to.

Do you know when 110's contract runs out then?

It should be streamed online anyway, it is 2010, not 1982. maybe they prefer streaming a ptc event, seeing as theyre so prestigious.

how do you suggest its streamed then without a law suit ?
Lee Doyle wont sell the rights unless there's something for him will he.
i agree it needs streaming but at the moment not much that can be done on that.

I remember it was a 3-year contract and it started in August 2009.
Quote from the latest issue of Snooker Scene that explains the situation, sort of:
"As the anticipated service for qualifying is no longer provided, why do the rights not revert to World Snooker? Because, 110 maintain, the contract means that they have paid for an opportunity to provide this coverage but have no obligation to do so."
So I suppose, unless WPBSA really decides to buy back the rights, we're stuck without the coverage for another year at least.

So Barry Hearn wants snooker to grow but he couldnt buy out 110's contract ?
I remember watching a ptc streamed last year from Gloucester, why didnt they just switch them all there this season ?
