Looks likely that later this year there will be a Snooker World Cup in Thailand, according to the World Snooker website. Its been some time since we had a World Cup. About time I think.

Certainly we won't need a 'Rest of the World' squad, with the current snooker expansion worldwide.

Well, look at the professional list, most of them are come from England. When World Cup is held, we can see more players from different countries. So World Cup is the good idea.

Only a REAL cynic could see any disadvantages of a world cup of snooker. It will do the sport the "world" of good. :snooker:
