I was hoping to not have any down time this evening but unfortunately it is going to be unavoidable.
I will be turning the forum off at at about 11pm tonight and it should be available again by 4am
You can always go have a natter on the TSF Facebook Group (http://www.facebook.com.thesnookerforum) or comment on a blog post (http://www.thesnookerblog.com).
I will keep you upto date with what is happening through the TSF Twitter account (http://twitter.com/thesnookerforum)
As I am having to turn the forum off for a awhile i am going to kill a few birds with one stone, when we are back we will be on the new server, have a updated version of vBulletin be fully integrated with Facebook and fingers crossed have a updated style to the forum.

Yeah after the failed update to the forum I decided this morning to move the forum to the new server so some people may have problems for a few hours while the DNS propagates, we should not of had that problem as I clustered the servers !!
I am working on a ftpp problem on the new server at the moment, as soon as I sort that out the forum will be put into maintenance mode again and I will this time try a upgrade to the software instead of trying to just import the current data into a new database structure.
When it comes back online it will look a little different, you may have to bare with me while I make a few changes like putting the front page back together.

yeah it will do as your browser is still trying to goto the old server, welcome to the wonderful world of DNS it should resolve itself in a few hours.
Mostly people on cable connections or cheap DLS connections will have the most problems as their DNS takes longer to update.

LOL, thanks for looking out for me ore. :)
I don't think it would help much though. For some reason we don't have as much discussion as we used to anymore. Maybe it will pick up for the WC at least. ;)

LOL, we're always looking out for you 'Grand Lover of Snooker' :D
Yes, for some reason, for some... And there used to be also some insightful discussions on not just tournaments-in-running threads the depth of which is anyway mostly limited to "oh what a nice pot; oh what an amazing match".
No illustrative pics either anymore; well but that's not recoverable anyway. RIP.
Your posts in those are quite outstanding therefore atm ;)
