2011-2012 season calendar

Calendar on WSA site has been updated.

Season now not starting to June 20 which means all qualifiers will be sorted.

First full ranking event is in July - which I guess will be in Australia.

Presumably spare ranking event will be in Thailand or China.

Am guessing ther may only be 2 cut-off points after World Open and Welsh Open.

there is no ranking points schedule as yet........

The new ranking event which was due in October has disappeared in this updated calendar.
Also, the China Invitational event in the summer (beside Wuxi) also gone.

Why do you think there'll be only 2 cut-off-points? It'll be a hard time sorting it out if theres a different number of cutoff points each season...

anyone heard about when cut-offs will be or about ranking point tariffs (especially re new events).

My comment about only 2 cut-offs is because there are not many points in the season where finals events have been played and qualifiers for another event haven't started yet.

I'm hoping they'll update cut-off after each finals event and the next event to start uses those rankings (a la tennis and other sports)

i dont think this is the bigger question. ronnie skipped half of last season and noone died. ok someone did but not because of that.
