my best has to be either Ronnie O'Sullivan vs Mark J Williams or Kirk Stevens against Jimmy white due to the difficulty of them some great shots played

if you go quality of the break the worst has to be Thornburn vs Griffiths (first shot was terrible and a lucky fluke) all the reds were in perfect position

LOL. All the reds were in perfect position! Not if the white isn't in perfect position they aren't! I remember some kid watching me make a 140 clearance a couple of years ago, and when I finished he said "Yeah good, but they were all easy. I could have potted all of them." I know some breaks are easier than others but an easy/worst 147 is an oxymoron surely?

what i meant was all the reds were in open play the break was started in the balls as opposed the first shot was an awful attempt at an easy pot which was fluked if u compare it to maximums when the pack has to be opened it wasn't as great

Correct, but they're all good. There is no worst.

A better question to ask is simply what was the best 147, i think it was Jimmys at the crucible..

There is no such thing as worst maximum but for the best depends on brilliance or mucha hairy hard as nails stones

For brilliance i agree ronnies quick as hell 5 minute wonder break
but for pressure its got to have been hendrys 1997 liverpool victoria deciding frame after been battered by ronnies come back for so many frames to produce that was simple the best
hendry's just nicks it for me
