Snooker Shop/ Shop's in Edinburgh?

My Mum is going to Edinburgh in the start of next month and i'm wondering if anyone here knows if there is a Snooker/ Billiard Shop there?

Don't think there is one which sells selection of quality cues. Only one I knew closed down a few years ago. Post up what you're looking for and maybe someone could help. There was a Forum member from Edinburgh selling a John Parris quite recently.

I'm looking for a JP mini butt, or mini butt telescopic extension as my 17 year old classic only has a long telescopic extension which doesn't really work when the shot is just a bit out of reach...

Don't really know any shops that sell that sort of gear other than JP himself. Second hand market would be a good bet. You could PM ADR147. He's a "Scottish expert" on all things snooker related.

Why not just buy direct from JP ?? (oh and i assume your cue has an SD joint ?????? being 17 years old, it wouldn't have one as std)

Wouldn't you look for a mini butt cheaper here instead of buying one new if the one that is used isn't that old and used?

And the cue has had the SD Joint fitted later in it's life if i'm not mistaken(hope not)
