I tried a quick game on the 8 ball career mode and realised that the American 8 ball game now has UK 8 ball rules, like ball in baulk after a foul (as opposed to the correct in hand rule) and the computer opponent also legally potted one of my balls (illegal in American 8 ball).
What are the developers playing at? The rules are a joke, how can they do something so careless and amateur. Stick with 09 people cos this version is ridiculous.

Enjoying the pool modes but agreed silly rules.

I was really looking forward to the pool tournies in 09, but it's been completely ruined by that awful 5-point ball marker in your face constantly. It wouldn't be so bad if it disappeared once you'd confirmed which ball you were going for, like it does in the snooker, but no, it stays there blinking away while you're trying to line your shot up!!
