Nobody seems to have mentioned this yet. Anybody watching? Starts today, Eurosport coverage starts tomorrow. Though, as usual, a lot of the coverage is on the HD Channel. So non-HD subscribers won't be able to watch a lot of it.

Yes, looking forward to it.:) But I've got some family stuff to do this weekend, so I won't be able to watch as much as I'd like. Thank God for mobile phones and live scores! I should be able to catch most of the evening sessions though.

I aint got Eurosport HD, so on Saturday I can't see anything but the evening play. Am at work this afternoon, so will be switching on at about 6pm anyway, with a pizza though. ;)

Sunday should be good.

James Wattana's knocked out Mark J Williams 4 - 2, bit of a surprise that one.

Ronnie didn't look good today... although Guodong played very well :) :snooker:

Well the way Xiao has performed in some of these PTC events doesn`t make it a huge surprise

Hoping I can manage to catch White or Davis playing this time around.

Saw a couple of frames of the O'Sullivan match. Didn't think he looked too bad, just played the odd iffy shot, didn't really get going. Guodong looked a good player though.

Another surprise: Xiao Guodong crashed Rocket 4-1

Great result for the young man, but he's out now to Gerard Greene 4 - 2.
Funny old game.:)

And the man with the best name in snooker, Dechawat Poomjaeng, has been on a bit of a Scottish scalp hunt, taking Hendry 4 - 1, and then Maguire 4 - 2.
Both very good results for the Thailander.

I just watched Selby vs Dott. How good was Selby playing? Wow.

Coming up next on Eurosport 2 is Judd Trump vs Marco Fu. Interesting clash, but at this point in their careers you'd expect Judd to take it.

Be good if the loser wins at least a frame though.

Trump destroyed Fu 4-0 very quickly. Fu only made a dozen points total in the 4 frames.

Murphy's out now, beaten by Alan McManus 4 - 1

This should be a great final. What d'you think, will Robertson's experience overcome Trump's exuberance? The Ausie must feel there's a bit of a score to settle as well, after this years world championship.

Robertson is starting to get back to his best . I'm looking forward to this Final . Not sure who is going to win .

Shame Allen didn't make it to a semi-televised event final, him vs trump would have been a mint final imo.

Think Trump will probably walk this 4-1 or 4-2.

Neil will win this easily

Tickets were only 10 euro per day, 15 euro for Sunday.
The main problem during the first two days is most people prefer to watch 2-3 tables at a time rather than go into the main arena. It wasn't packed by any means during the first two days but there was a good attendance at certain times overall.
There were 3 venues basically (1 Table Main Arena), (3 Table Arena) (6 Table Arena) and you can pop in and out of the other two which you cant during a live match in the main arena.
Yesterday at one stage there were only about 40 watching the TV table while around 200 watched the likes of Trump and Jimmy White on table 2 and 3.
Then of course being Ireland a lot of people just sit in the bar watching it even though they have tickets.

Trump's attitude was even worse than Rocket. Robertson, on the other hand, lost my respect. I would much rather have Gould or Allen beat both of them. Poor Final indeed. Even watching Selby is better than how Robbo played in the final.

How was his attitude worse than Ronnies? He played one safety without getting down.

He couldn't get going in a scrappy match. It happens.

Any idea as to who won the German Masters spot in the secondary event (if any)?

Deiseboy

The German Masters spot was won by Phil Arnold. There are stories and results on the PTC Killarney Website and the RIBSA Web site
