I've just been back visiting my Mum back in Suffolk for the last few days and I came across this.......

I remember watch Jimmy White play Barry West which he unfortunatly lost, but it was a great day out with my Dad!!

I hopefully you'll be able to see all the pages of the programme, but check out the players involved and how cheap the tickets were....!!

I also got to play a few frames in a club I used play a few comps in, Pot Black in Lowestoft its changed a bit but the club looks in great shape and the table I played on was really nice......O'the memories!!

One question - is that really Rex Williams in the picture - he looks really different. Mind you he was playing long before I had even picked up a cue.

Yep I'm pretty sure it is I never really compared it to any other photos of him......

He was 55 when he played in that tournament, now that was pretty impressive!!

Yeah that is impressive! As long as your eye site is good and your mobile you can play this game for years. Doesn't really work like that in football :-)

Cheers mate, I had a chat with I thought was the owner cause he said him and his wife had just taken it over and done a bit of a refurb..... really impressed with how its looking and the tables, just a bit of a shame I don't around there anymore!!

Maybe I'll give you a shout next time I'm down and we could have a few frames....!!

Yeah that's him. I think because he's a 147-standard player himself, he runs the place from a snooker person point of view.
I'll be up for a game if you come this way again.

I played against him in the league last week. He had breaks of 76, 95 and 100.
My 42 start didn't help much!

Its always nice watching those kind of breaks go in, but not when your on the receiving end of them.......!!
