View Full Version : Eurosport coverage a bit poor...

The coverage on Eurosport from Wednesday through to Friday seems alright. But there seems to barely be any on Eurosport or Eurosport 2 at all this weekend.
Maybe it's time I invested in the Eurosport player.

Yeah I saw that as well. A bit lean on the weekend-coverage...

I was going to sup a few beers with the snooker and the rugby on Saturday afternoon. Grrr...
I'll have to just watch Jeff Stelling tell me about the football, and drink beer.

There coverage is still better than anything else. Which is a bit sad really. They do need to look at the quality though. Noise interferance is terrible.

I know. It'll be a struggle. But, you know what? I think I can manage it.

Eurosport does have somewhat of a charm about it, being such a cheap downtrodden channel. Especially back in the day where they would only have one commercial at a time. And they'd cut to the ad-break and you'd see the same advert for Incredible India or Turkish Airlines, followed by three adverts for the Eurosport Player.
But it does have some criticisms. The sound quality being one thing you mentioned. They need to learn to stick to schedule as well. How many times have you been waiting for snooker to start for an hour whilst some tennis or skiing has been on instead?

It would be just as frustrating for the tennis or skiing fan to know that they've missed some coverage because they thought the snooker was on. (Except that they will not know they were missing it!)

The change in schedules is the worst when it happens...I normally tape every single program on my HD recorder...either on bbc and if no coverage there, then Eurosport. When I get back from a workday, I'll start the "tape" and enjoy a whole evening of continuous snooker :) That is...if the program on eurosport is unchanged.
