£2 an hour is a brilliant price, but what are tables/surroundings like ???

There are already a couple of very lengthy threads about Rileys clubs... generally slagging them off for the prices and standards.

if you book online and get a table for £2 an hour you're not going to be too disappointed, even if the tables are not brushed n ironed, you can always ask staff to do this. You do always get what you pay for tho.....

sorry for delay, quick break to the canaries for much needed sun!!
I use the Folkestone one.
Like I said in a previous topic, there are better tables around the town but they go for £5 an hour or are at small social clubs with dodgy opening times and hard to get to.
I usually book online and if the table isnt clean I ask the staff to do it and failing that I give it a quick brush n block.
I've used the one in voctoriarecently and the tables were immaculate as was the venue so its not all doom and gloom in rileys although it is a long way off the expectations from a branded operator.

They have the same deal £1 per half hour and £2 an hour after 11pm each night.
Victoria is only a flagship due to a vast insurance payout due to a flood, there are not many like that in the company, not now and unlikely in the future.
Played snooker yesterday with the father in law and nice to see no one bothered to clean the table or even bother hoover the floor, nice mcd's bag screwed up under the table......having a practice around noon and will bet the table is the same and the bag will remain, watch this space!!!!

day 4 and its still there, looks like it has turned a little......found a local rowing club has a decenty table and a pretty decent team and its £1 per half hour on a coin op timer, so that could be a solution.
