Fair idea. Change those who have played and get back in with others who are yet to play.

So, no trouble for Deepscrew. Only coomsey's Thanawat selection needs to be changed, but because he won't be able to pick up another wildcard, now that they have all started, I guess he'll have to settle for three players or he could completely change his seeded selections to avoid picking a wildcard somehow and it would still be fine : )

It really isn't a problem for me.
Maybe, starting from the next event or so, I could give every player an extra chance to do so.
That would be still 4 players at the beginning, and you could substitute one at some point after he has played (edit: not unless :D if his substitution is yet to play) without going over the points limit again.
Anyone interested in this idea?

only if there are late comers and only people on time can have a substution just one this should also only be available on the opening day before the last session of that day

my wildcard choice was a toss up between thanawat and jin long damn the coin damn the coin

Thank you guys and girls.... Much appreciated!!:)
Well I'm totally happy to stick with 3 players because that would have been my first choice team, but if everybody would feel happier/prefer if made a complete change team I will.....
It's completely up to you guys??

only if there are late comers and only people on time can have a substitution just one this should also only be available on the opening day before the last session of that day
But that means the first session of the opening day is the deadline for substituting someone who has played and in the Worlds, we would have no proper final results to do so.
Then again, in the Worlds, it is easier to change one of your players that is yet to start with another one. I'm not mentioning it every time, but technically there are members that can change every member of their team at the moment cause their all selections are yet to play a match.
Perhaps 5 players in the Worlds could be the case?

I respect your choice, you don't have to form a team from scratch. It was just an option (=

What's the point in all of that? Just finish your selection before the deadline. :)
Otherwise there would be room for all kinds of tactical play, such as picking a player who hasn't played yet, but whose draw has opened up because of other results, for example.
Even here, if you want to pick a wildcard, and four have already played, it's easy to say just pick one of the other four. Yes, you might have picked Jin Long and can't do so now, but you also might have picked someone who lost, and you can avoid that now, whereas the players who got their team on time don't have that option.
But then again, maybe I'm taking it all too seriously. ;)

Thank you Montoya.......:)
I'm total happy to stick with that team cause it was my first choice before I realised the tournament had started, so I think it would be unfair of me to pick another player when my one of my first choice players had gone out already.....

Well, at first sight, it looked like that tactical play could be fun, but I'm not so sure about that at the moment.
Then again, something is needed to be done here, I guess. This game's popularity has had drastically fallen to the lowest ranks in the forum.
In other words, maybe I should resign, so we get a "Barry Hearn" here as savior :D
Until we get to that point, no dramatical innovative move is to be made, then. That's a fair decision.
Anyone interested in being Barry? :D
PS. You're welcome, coomsey (=

No, don't be sorry, it's not about your submission. I posted the topic quite late also, so, no worries : )
Anyway, I shall do my best to return this game by the time World Championship arrives to its heyday when we would get 30+ people submitting teams, thanks for your support coming from you all!
