Does it drive you mad to hear the commentators go on about how good a player is at (this) or (that) ?

Commentating on a Steven Lee game, they ( the commentators ) will say “He has more cue power than anyone in the game”

I have even heard “them” say, Ali Carter is possibly the best break builder, when he gets in.

“ there is no one better at that type of shot”

“ he is the best player under these conditions”

“ he’s the best player in the world with a rest”

“ there is no one better at the safety shot”

The list is endless.

I agree that Steven Lee does have great cue power, but is it better than Jimmy – Trump – Drago ?
Carter don’t miss when he is in and flying (forgive the pun) but isnt that the same with them all ?
Isn’t Jimmy the best player with the rest ?
Isn’t angles McManus the best at getting out of snookers off of 3 or 4 cushions ? - apparently not when he isnt playing.

The commentators know there stuff, but why praise the player playing on the day, then another the next ?

It does wind me up.

I vote Hawkeye as commentator, he never gets it wrong :D

Don't pay too much attention to what commentators say. I'm convinced some of them don't even watch snooker if they aren't paid to talk about it.

Ha ha ha and that proves my point.

Sorry , I was being facetious, commentators talk a load of @#*% :D

I didn't know about the missing reds (good spotting) but often I see the shot differently than hawkeye, and I am never wrong :D:D:D

Well, there was that one time in Thailand.
