Score Update

I have bettered my previous score in tetris. Its now 74159. But it dosent show me as the TETRIS champion. But says my best score is 74159.
What do I do?

Ranen. New score on Tetris mate have a look. Level 24 or 25 I was up to.

That looks like an UNBEATABLE score man! How did you do it? How do you play when it comes down so fast? I cant play it at level 12-13 and you play at double the speed? Great dude! Hats of to you! I have not be playing lately. Will start from 2moro , try my hand at all the games.

It's not as hard as you think really. You need to go for big lines (3's and 4's) when the speed is slower say apto about level 10 or 11 and then after that take it carefully, keep the stack near the bottom and take single lines, anything else is a bonus.

I always do that , I go for fours! Sometimes the dame big single lins dosent come for a long time and the games up. Ill try.

THUNDERING TYPHOONS!!!!!!!! How did you get such a score. Its like a like a total clearance with a free ball. Its a 152 break mate , CONGRATS!

Lol i dunno about that mate. I'd swap it for a 50 break any day of the week :D
Got to level 23 on that go. Again I should have scored more though, 1 little lapse of concentration and that was it, it's too quick to lose concentration. Nevermind :D

I just beat my own high score. It's now 40!!!!!!!!!

I'm not bad at this, if I may say so. I'm crap at the other games, though.

Thank you! :cool: I made a silly mistake at 40. Could have done some more, really. The secret is sectioning the sequences. I don't remember them as one huge sequence but as many smaller ones. A sequence should ideally have 5 - 10 colours/sounds. It depends on when you feel that a logical sequence ends. When it is interrupted, don't be confused but just start a new unit.

Hope that made a little bit of sense.

Any other tips for Tetris (Jay!!!!) or esp. Chopper Challenge (Mitsuko!!!!) are greatly appreciated! ;)

At the risk of sounding like a complete poof, I make the colour sequences into a song. I use the melody of the Do Re Mi song from The Sound of Music.

But instead of using the words, since yellow is two syllables, I use the letters...

B, B, R, R Y, Y, R.
G, G, B, B, B, R Y.

etc.

I tried to put the sequence into a song as well but the sounds are just too strange. The melody sounds rather weird and I can't cope with that. :D
