Dear Members,
Regretably due to my current duties I am no longer able to offer as much time to the forum as I would like, therefore I have decided to put the site up for sale.
I hope the new owner will take the site to the next level.
I thank you all for your input over the years and I will miss being apart of the community.
Thank you all,

It seems no one knows how to respond to this. I for one will be sorry to see you leave, Dave, you've built a great site here.
Presumably the forum's being sold in it's entirety, may I ask has the deal been struck or is the sale still open?

What's going to happen?
I mean, I take it we'll still have this forum, or will it be completely different with a new owner.
Do we start a new one or what?

A reply from Snooker would probably answer that best but as I understand it (and as is normal with sitepoint) the site's been sold as-is, so everything should be preserved. Of course, what the new owner does with it afterwards is up to them.
Considering they'll be paying good money for it they'll most likely preserve what's been built here but try to add something in the way of income generation, maybe ads, maybe something more clever.
