Paul Burrell

I have a question. Has there ever been a snooker professional called Paul Burrell? The name doesn't ring a bell but I'd like to know who the guy is and what he has done (in snooker) in case he really exists....

From what I've heard he is English and stopped playing some four years ago. Correct?

I have never heard of Paul Burrell the snooker player, and I do usually at least recognise the names of most players that have been pro.

The only Paul Burrell I know of is Lady Dianna's sell-out butler.

It's funny you should ask such a question, because actually there was a Paul Burrell.

The only record I have on him is his World Championship performance, which is quite simple to calculate.

You'll note that he scratched from this, his only entry into the tournament — and so did his opponent, handing a bye to the guy in the next round.

The most famous name other than his to appear would probably have to be Alex Ferguson.

I suppose it's the guy The Statman referred to above (thanks a lot, Statman!!!). Pity there isn't any more info about him.
