Hi All,

I wonder if anybody could provide assistance here. I'm very keen on Snooker and cue sports in general and would love to improve my game. I admit to being a complete novice at Snooker at present but do try and play regularly. Can anybody offer any coaching assistance in the Nottinghamshire or surrounding area ?

Thanks In Advance.

Try new WSA coach Gavin York at Rushden Snooker Club.

I don't think a beginner who is just looking to get some tips or help on the basics should go to a WSA coach. For a start off they are only in it for the money and secondly why waste upwards of £20 an hour just so he can give out a few tips that most average players could give!

What he needs is someone in the local area who can play the game to a decent standard who doesn't mind sparing an hour or two just to give him some pointers.

This is a long shot but in Newark about 25 miles from Nottingham itself there is a beginner coach on a saturday morning...you would have to ring up the club yourself and confirm though it is Called the Newark Cue Club, if that is of any help?
