  • Cue History

I have a two piece cue that I used to love playing with until I ruined it years ago when trying to change the ferrule. My dog also had a little chew on the shaft. It says 'Whirlwind, 1947' on the butt and has an unusual symbol on it similar to the Singers Prince symbol. I've always wondered where it was made and if its related in any way to Jimmy White. 2nd cousin perhaps.

Yes, I'll try and upload one in the next few days. I've often thought of getting it repaired but I had to chop off the tip section to such an extent that its probably gone from a 9mm to 13mm! The chew marks might be a problem though but they are actually a nice memory now. Although at the time I was a bit miffed about them I'd miss them if they wern't there

Lol, I'm sure the repair specialist can do something about the 13mm... maybe taper it a little, not sure tho as I'm not a specialist but I've heard miracles done to some cues before unless u wanna keep the memory

I'm waiting on that photo, I'm curious

could the symbol be a sort of bow thing as in bow an arrow? - send me a photo.

I've often thought of a bow when I look at the image. I'll get a pic in the gallery. It would be made easier is I hadn't blown up my digital camera when I tried to use a laptop mains cable with it! Doh!
