  • Wide Cue Case

    Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone knows a good place or website where I can buy a wide snooker cue case. I'm trying to get a case that can fit 2 or even 3 cues which are 3/4 jointed.

Does anyone have any leads? I can imagine a very wide aluminium case fitting 2 cues but I have no idea where to get one.

    Cheers.

a leather 3/4 tourny case will take 2 cues or get one custom made by glover or stamford cuemakers - no case on the market i know of will take 3 cues.

The market is about to change

A custom made job is going to cost you a fair wedge and your gonna have to handle it with kid gloves otherwise the ali is going to get dented or if leather torn or at least scuffed.

The best option is to buy a fishing rod bag and some tubualar cases.

A rod bag such as this..
      http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROD-BAG-1-5met...QQcmdZViewItem

That one is 150cm long but a having done a quick search fond that perticular bag comes in different lengths...

the tubular cases i've made can be had at any length you require. I'l post detais and some pics tommorow.

A while back I actually saw an aluminium case with 3 rows of space and it was pretty long. Its like like a wide aluminium cue case. I cant find it online anymore cant even remember the website. But a custom cue case would surely be too pricey. hehe. but thanks ADR147

If you know any other websites with good cue cases (wide ones) let me know.

it was on www.craftsmancues.com but they don't make them anymore, define a fair wedge - i have been known to change cars because my cue case would not fit in!!! also why would you need a case that takes 3 cues? - what about taking two cases!

lol...So i dont want to imagine what you will be driving if you switched over to a 1 piece cue case?

But you're right! I think it was that webiste that was doing them! looks familiar! I wonder if they have any buried behind there somewhere.

Taking 2 cases is a good idea, and also a very cheap idea but not so cool to carry around or practical when you have brats running around and need a hand to smack their bums. then again you can use the case to do that.

well if anyone knows another site doing those wide aluminium cases gimme a shout. thanks so much.

you could get 2 second hand ones, and adapt them into one, if youre into a bit of DIY, or know someone who is....

time consuming, but may not be too costly, and itll be a one off.

I got a better idea, buy 2 leather cases. Glue them together using epoxy at the bottom of the case. So take one cue out 'flip over' then take the other cue out.

                  Nice one. lol.

                    i wasnt joking....

im sure someone handy at DIY could turn 2 old aluminium cases into one larger one, and make it look good
