  • Drag Shot Potting Angle

When playing any type of angled pot I seem to notice the object ball will "straighten up" much like a kick if I play a drag shot, and the white contacts the object ball at just the moment when its stopping spinning backwards

anyone else notice this? it makes me miss a lot of pots? can I stop it ? is it part and parcel of the game? am i paranoid? lol

If the ball straightens up it means you are applying unintentional opposite side. It could be a sighting or alignment problem.

thanks for the reply, could it b e anything else, i'm pretty sure im not as my cue action isnt good enough to do the same way every time lol, it awlays straightens up, seems unlikely.

            hi

When you cue the ball, you tend to always hit it the same way. If you tend to put on some left hand side when you cue, you will do that on every shot. It comes back to alignment and /or sighting. Any coaches on the forum that can help the lad.?

no I mean it straighten up on a left to right shot to the left and a right to left shot to the right.

Is it only happening when you are playing the drag shot?
