Is it normal to grip my teeth during aiming, pause and then hitting the cue ball?

Or is it better to slightly loosen the grip ?

    Thanks

Personally, if I'm tense I can't achieve relaxed confident focus and fluid stroke I feel, not as often as I would wish, when I play well.

If clenching your teeth runs a flag up the pole for you which all the balls salute... go for it!

I think I get what youre meaning.

It is always the best to have relaxed facial muscles whan playing. If you tense up then you will not be playing your best.

I used to be a very stressed player, broke one cue due to a bad run of games. Another player I play with said to try breathing deep breaths before a shot. Not only does that make you relax but it also lets you work things out easier...oh and the fact im on calm down pills helps too
