removing badge

Anyone know the best way to remove a name badge from the butt of a cue? Its the small plastic disk type which is set into the ebony.

any way to get it out in 1 peice? It's going back in the cue once i've put a new plice in the but. I'd quite like to keep the original

no nothing like that. It's just a fairly old cue, not worth a great deal but i wanted to keep the original badge. Not for any particular reason, thanks for the info though

what is the badge. - it is possible to remove it without drilling it.

depends how tightly fitted it is. but if a splice is going on anyway its not a problem.

I need to remove an old disc badge too but in one piece if possible. Any ideas?
