  • How to get cue arm straight

    Is there away I can get my cue arm straight because my cue arm seems to look like a forward slash like this / but it is not that bent but it look abit like that.

    Well, it's important to remember that it's not your arm position but your action that counts. John Parrot, Alex Higgins, and Cliff Thorburn all have "bent" cue arms, but their action is straight. If your not cueing straight however, this should be addressed, but remember, some arms crook inward, or outward, and you may find it useless to try and change this. I would try filming yourself playing if you can, and you may be able to figure what, if any, your problem is. Also, the concept of having your elbow, strong eye( the one you aim with), and cue tip on a straight line is a good one to keep in mind. Find a pro player with a body position and cue swing like your own, and try to make yours more like his.

      Yes its not a bad major problem to be fair as long as all the fundamental points of your game are in check ie stance, grip etc..
      Always play snooker with a smile on your face...You never know when you'll pot your last ball.
