  • Help, buying a cue case.

Does anyone know what length mastercraft will make a shaft?
I'v gone for a 57'' 3/4 jointed cue and didn't specify what length for the butt.

I need to know to help me buy the right length cue case. Iv bought a case before and cocked up not checking the shaft length and ended up with a case too small . I couldn't send it back and had to modify it.

Cheers mate but I suppose I do need something a bit more certain just incase. Just checked and I have 117cm to play with in the case I fancy.
If the shaft is 41'' thats pleanty of room.

what cases are you looking at? I imagine before you bought a case designed for cues jointed above the splices. So it was slightly shorter. You shouldn't really have a problem though

I was looking at a geordie pool case last week down the club, very well made 1 piece case it was. felt solid and the interior suede was nice fairplay, they seem good to me for the price.

I'd go for the black or the blue, not fussed on the first 1...

but i'd probably go for the blue and white 1...

The black 1's look all the same i spose (in general), and ADR147 on here does decent cases cheaper than that if you was to go for the plain case.

I was leaning towards the blue n black one the otherday but then thought with it being white/black inside it would get covered in chalk marks...
                      looks lovely though dont it.

Iv looked at adrs cases and couldn't find any with the coloured suede interior in a leatherette.

I'd go for the blue and white one. Its not like you throw your chalk around inside your case and chalk wipes off fairly easily.

Buy a little chalk case and cover the tip when you put cue away, simples....

Ye think your right. It has a chalk compartment anyway and I could just cover the tip with a towel.
                            Blue/black it is...

I think I'd best wait to hear back from Dave with the shaft length before I splash out though, just incase it dont fit.
