  • New to the Forum

    Hi All,

I thought I would introduce myself.
I'm new to the forum and find it very interesting.
I love to play snooker and also enjoy reading other peoples posts.
I particularly enjoy the posts about different snooker tables etc.
I play quite regularly ( but not that well )
I would be interested in anyones pictures of their table and if I can get to grips with uploading photo's, I will put one on of mine.

            Hi Neil
The cue I use is a John Parris Regal, My highest break is only 50. My highest practice break is 74.
I have just started playing again as I haven't bothered too much over the last year or two.
I played with my brother a bit earlier this year and we've just got back into it.
I have just had some work on my table and also had it recovered yesterday.
I hope I can get well past that 50 barrier.

Nice cue and good breaks .

Very jealous that you have your own table .

I'm sure you will post a few good breaks soon . All about the practice .

Played yesterday . 6 frames of rubbish . High break of 20 .

Not playing anywhere near enough . Thank god the new season is 2 months away

Hi I know that you are going to enjoy yourself on the forum, there is always something of interest and the members are very helpful and pleasant. I live in Australia and I am a very keen snooker and billiards player;but I am not very good,,,but so it goes. I have my own table and an ever expanding collection of cues and antique books and other nicknacks. I am going to try to up load or is it down load some pictures of my table and room. I have never done this before,,so here we go.

It worked. My table is an Alcock Thompson & Taylor, it's made her in Australia in 1870,the model is called a "Squatters Favourite". It's made of Australian fiddleback blackwood and it is beautifull, it's my pride and joy. I will put on a couple more pictures.

I am totally jealous of all of you who have your own tables. One day, one day..
