I am new to the forum and thought I should say hello.
I am looking for a practice partner if there is anybody out there near Norwich. I have played snooker for over twenty years and fallen in and out of love with the game but am keen to get serious again.

Wouldn't mind a game with Barry. Played in the English amateur and Club players last year and did OK but lacking good regular match practice. It is bit of a back water here in Suffolk.

You may think its a back water mate , but you want to try to find a decent club in London . You may think they are ten a penny but you would be wrong .

Yeah I suppose I am lucky as I play at some clubs with excellent tables and set-ups. There is just a shortage of good players who have any interest in playing seriously.

I'm jealous already . Put a thread on here that you need a practice partner , you never know you might be lucky . As i'm not sure if everybody reads newbie posts . Nothing ventured as they say .

Why do you ask for a Norwich partner when you live in Suffolk?

I'm from North Norfolk but play in the Norwich league... :snooker:

Your actually closer to Norwich than me then!!!!

Are you playing anywhere in Norwich yet? I play at Roger Lee's club... Broadland Snooker Centre! Maybe we could meet up for a practice session? I'm struggling to get motivated for practise at the moment! There's a few changes going on with the Norfolk Snooker Association as we speak and there could be quite a few tournies approaching so I want to get back to knocking in regular breaks and become match fit!!!
