Hi All

Just wondering where everyones from and what leagues you all play in.
I'll start

Im from birmingham and play in the birmingham efficiency league division 1.

Epsom and District League in Surrey . Founded in 1905 and i've been playing in it for 21 years .
Currently lie 2nd in the Premier League Table but there are some exceptional players in it . Hardest year ever . Few ex pro's now playing . So we won't be 2nd for long

Big match tonight, against the league leaders who having only played 4 matches have already had 2 of their players make centuries!!! Last year we finished runner-up to them but due to a dodgy start to the season we are currently only 4th. Hoping for a good win tonight.

Ipswich and District Snooker League

Premier division the league is sadly not as popular as it once was. I started playing in it aged 11 i was the youngest player to ever play in the league. There is now only 3 Divisions prem, A and B when i started it went down to J i think. There a still quite a few decent players in the premier, i play for one of the top teams 5 of our 6 players are century break players, although not many are made as our league is 1 frame format with 6 players. No real chance to get your arm going.

Dawlish and District (only 1 division), though don't play now, and up until this season, very rarely, Torbay League.

Newcastle and Gateshead league i play for the westfield social club we are top of the league by 1 point at present . i have won 10 lost 2 inc cup matches .

I was drawn against the best player in the league tonight (he's won the singles championship for the last 4 years, beating me in one of the finals) I lost the first frame due to him fluking the last red, I managed to clear the colours in the second to win and had a 30 followed by the last two reds with blacks to leave him needing snookers in the third... So got a 2-1 win
Our second player also had a good 2-1 win knocking in breaks of 67 and 76.
Unfortunately though, our third player was on the recieving end of 58 and 91 breaks losing 3-0... So we lost the match 5-4

Played on and off really, played for Ridgemere when they were in the premier but they decided to pack the 'a' team up and now they are in division one.

Never got to play at stadium though I've been a couple of times. The league isn't as good as it once was though, seems to have lost its buzz.
