cue

Hi folks only new to the site and have been trying to find out about a cue I have ,to me it looks maple says on the plate at the bottom Burroughes and Watts 19 Soho sq London but there is no name on the cue like champion club or Eureaka , so if poss could anyone enlighten me on this many thanks

Am i correct in saying its a machine spliced cue ? If so fairly common worth about £30 to £40 ish...
some pics would help tho

Hi I cannot say if its machine spliced because I dont know the difference but one thing is for sure it was bought in the burroughes and watts shop belfast 46 years ago

are the tips of the splices rounded or pointed.

Many thanks Gazza 147 so can I take it that all cues that are rounded are hand made I am asking this question because there is a champion cue on E Bay at the minute for 275 quid which I am thinking of buying

you can get a burwat champion cue for cheaper than that someone on here has a very nice replica burwat champion made by tony glover for £190 check the items for sales section
