Snooker Teams in Gloucester?

Hi there, started playing snooker again regularly after a few months break (due to breaking my wrist playing rugby ). Anyway I'm very keen to join a team or some mates who also play would be interested in starting a new team to compete in the local league. I was just wondering how I would go about submitting a team or how to join one? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi- John Redfern is the local league secretary in Gloucester - he also works at the South West Snooker Academy

you could ring him (mornings are best time) at the Academy on 01452 223214

He knows all the players, all the teams, in all the leagues across Gloucestershire and surrounding area.

They also have their website on the UK Snooker Leagues site. http://www.leaguesnooker.co.uk/

They have a "League Practice Night" at the Academy on Monday evenings. John can give you more information about that as well.
