  • Player Q & A on World Snooker Website

Is it just me or are we are getting a little tiresome with the questions they pose to players in Q & A sessions? I really dont want to know what their favourite food is or what they wish to come back in the next life as. Maybe there are those interested in their favourite cuisine !

As a snooker player, is there any chance of World snooker dropping this and asking some snooker related questions? Pagett and Jimmy R just had their debuts at the Crucible, ask them something related to that, I'd like to know how they found tables, the arena, the crowd, the facilities, the cameras, where they felt their snooker could improve on TV, the pressure they felt or maybe how the whole shebang helped them, etc etc.

    Any agree with me?

I agree also. I'm also fed up with always seeing the same player profile between frames!!!
The other annoying thing is that when people email to the BBC with questions, it is always the same thing. 'How do I screw a ball?'; 'What is the best way to break off?' etc etc. I met John Parrot when he'd just won the world Amateur Snooker, back in 1977 (or 78). He played at the then club I played at. I emailed this info to the BBC but a question about 'breaking off' seemed to get preferred.
I have also emailed answers to rule questions bought up by so called 'expert commentators', but they too have never been aired.
You are only the best on the day you win.
