  • Line up practice

    Dear All,

I am a beginner in this snooker game for about a year. I was taught to practice line up which I could have a straight cueing and placing or control of the whilte ball. But, each time when I practice, sometimes I could pot the red but cannot place the blackor other colour balls to the position I wanted. I also had difficulties in strength control. Is the line up difficult for beginner? Are there training which I could practice to achieve the objectives? Thanks.

i found it alot easier to place 6 reds (3 above and 3 below) the blue spot and concentrate getting good position/angle for the next shot i would do this until i was pretty confident, then repeat around the pink spot and so on around the black once your pretty fluent in each area then put it all together !! it worked for me ......... let me know if you give it a try ??

Thanks for the tips. Are you referring to 3 red in a row beside the blue? Thanks.
