The stroke groover sounds like a sex aid. IMO there all a waste of money and I think if anyone was to buy one these you have no talent what so ever and need to get a life. Straight cuing is just one small part of potting. You could perfect cuing with on of these devices yet still be the worse potter in the world.
    Made me laugh tho.

      Stroke groover . . brilliant.

I've got an old tie ( groover ) somewhere that could do the same job. How does that cue stay planted ?

      Great links . .

Wonder what sites you'd find if you google 3rd eye stroke!
No one is listening until you make a mistake!

A lot of folk would get a shock if they used the stroke trainer, wondering why they don't hit centre ball. Maybe it's quite useful for some. 2nd one looks quite challenging. Fourth one looks like cue wreck coming. No.5 - LOL! Just get down and put your chin on the cue, and make a flippin' V bridge donut! No.6 is all about the S&M; I can see two broken cues and a ripped cloth on the horizon. Last one; why does the guy talk about triceps and biceps - it's pool not body building!

Stroke Groover is hillarious, if you saw someone down at the club using one, i'd think the had broken the arm or something.

i think the second wasn't that bad, at least it might help with cueing straight. i had a coach who made a hole through a matchbox and had me cue through it (large enough for about 8 inches of the cue to go through) when i first started, it helped me keep the cue straight. i think Terry mentioned that he uses a empty bottle for his learners and get them try cueing into it.

the rest of the gadgets are a joke or silly

In all seriousness I do think there should be some kind of training thing to learn english. Some guy tried telling me about it when I was just starting out and I couldn't make heads or tails with it. Took a lot of practice and a lot of looking at diagrams in books to figure it out myself.

The Cuestroke was the only one with some actual potential. I could see that one being picked up by Beginners and it actually benefiting them.
