  • Looking for coaching in North London

I just signed up to the forum today and was recommended that I post here for advice to help me improve.

I recently moved to Crouch End (North London) and really want to get back into snooker. I've never considered a coach before, but actually I think it would be really useful. Are there any coaches in London willing to help out? How much does coaching cost?

I haven't really played any cue sports since uni last year, but I played a lot of pool and a bit of snooker. My issue was that I could never find anyone who wanted to play snooker so never really played much, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I really want to get back into it and basically would like as much help as possible.

If you fancy going south of the river (and a tad further), I'm based at Chandler's Ford Snooker Club just off the M3 near Winchester.

    I charge £15 an hour.

Hi Tim, thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I think you're a little too far out for me. When I moved to London I decided not to take the car so would have to travel by train. Looking at times and prices I don't think it would be doable. If I'm ever in the area though I'll give you a shout.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've looked at his site and will send him an email.

Thanks for the info. I've been in touch with John Woods, but I've checked out the site you recommended too so if nothing comes of my talking to John then I shall follow up with your suggestion. Thanks for all the help.

Thanks for the link to the directory. I had looked through before creating the post, but I wanted to see if there were any recommendations on here. Good to see the coach I'm in touch with is also in the directiry.
