Yes, including all of the top seven I think, should be good fun.

That's very reasonable isn't it, you might even say cheap.

It's pretty sad that the Candian pro, Floyd Zeigler is still stuck in Canada without his UK Althlete Work Visa and so far has missed 3 tournaments. I think his first year will be more of a learning experience but it would have been nice for the WPBSA (or WSA it it's them) to have that visa organized on time for him to compete at the start of the season.

Yes, I miss seeing him around, great character and player. His first match starts shortly, shame there's not even any live scoring. Hopefully we'll get to see him in one of the later rounds.

PTC 2 qualifying rounds going very well. Nice to see a mix of the "old heads" and future stars up against each other.

We have up to date results on our SWSA website. You can also buy tickets for the weekend at our E-store, or on the door on arrival. It's only £10 for a full day (£5 for OAP or under 16) and £25 for a three day pass.

Joe Swail is about to play Irishman Dessie Sheehan with the winner going through to play Rod Lawler.

Veteran former pro Ian Brumby has won through to face Jimmy White.

World Ladies Champion came from a frame behind three times to win 4-3 and goes through to play Paul Davison.

Watch out on our facebook, twitter and website for more updates throughout the event.

Hope to welcome many of you to SWSA to watch - come and say hello!

Joe won his first match 4-1 and starts his next match shortly, still no live scoring though. Also a good win for Reanne Evans, she beat Darrell Whitworth 4-3 and plays Paul S Davison tomorrow morning.
