  • Total Snooker on Android

A really great top-down snooker game for Android mobiles (possibly other smartphone platforms) - free too! It's a bit tricky to get used to at first (power and aim is achieved by dragging your finger across any part of table), but the physics are top-notch. You can select a range of table sizes from 7ft to full size, but the proportion on the full size table look a little wrong (tiny dots on a huge table) I find selecting the 10 foot table give the most realistic looking proportions.

Let me know what you think, glangford. Remember, you aim by dragging across ANY part of the table. Most people (including me at first) think you have to drag from the actual cue ball and say it's rubbish because if the cue ball is tight on a cushion you can't get any power as there nowhere for your finger to go., but as I say, you can drag the power from anywhere.

Yeah, love this game. Total pool is great too.

I've completed all the missions on total snooker now. Had a nice 103 break the other day.

              Missions? Where are them?

                Brilliant free game!

Not at all easy though - unless you're very patient.

Agree with the previous poster that the proportions on the 12ft table are off - it's almost impossible to make a decent break on there.

Have made a clearance (135) on the 7ft - but haven't even made a century on anything bigger yet!

I use the 10ft table as I find it 'looks' the most accurate in terms of table to balls ratio.

Incidentally, I was playing earlier on expert setting, and the AI of the opponent wipes the floor with the opponents on the WSC Real games. Amazing to think that a piddling little Android game can manage better AI opponents than a 128 bit games console.
