  • Graham aka Poona - critique

Well guys, I've finally got around to making a short vid of my game earlier for you all to see.

Been out of the game almost 5 years with Uni etc and now about 4 months back into it. Still ironing out a few chinks in the armour but my game is coming along nicely with very rapid progress to the level I was at before (HB-123)

Playing at a private practice club. Camera video taken using my iPhone so it's not the best re quality and positioning but I hope it's enough for the top level to critique and the lower/intermediate level to learn from.

Had just put a new tip on cue so was using this routine to bed it in...

p.s. missed the yellow with the rest at the end due to stretching. Must work harder on that belly...

    Enjoy..

Cloth plays nice, it's a #10 from one of the PTC's. Using Pro 1gs too.

Poona: Your cue action looks very well controlled, out of interest what cue are you playing with there?

Not a chance ya git! haha. I was plumb on pink AND black ;-) Played the pink as it gave me most red options and less % of running out of position. Come on that's bread and butter break building Mikey boy :P The yellow with the rest on the other hand.. bloody woeful!

p.s. How did you get that tip so flush at the sides on that blackspin ferrule that John has been pimping? Do you use gaffer tape?

                      Cheater!

I only ever played for black. I thought the other colours were for pussies

Tips finished on lathe mate. You'll struggle to get anything like that by hand.

I am trying to design a cutter that will make it easier though
