      Why not lol!!!

Gonna be there in a couple of months and if there's any decent cue makers I wouldn't mind checking them out.

Your best bet is to spend a day travelling into Thailand if your looking to purchase a quality cue, maybe a train or two...

I've been to a few of the places in Thailand as I used to live there a few years back. I won't be in Thailand on this trip but was just wondering if anyone here knew of anyone that makes quality cues in Vietnam as I've not heard of any Vietnamese cue makers. I'm sure there may be a few but couldn't really find any information on the internet. Thanks.

If none has been heard of on here there's maybe a reason to it, but maybe some of the far east members will have better knowledge.

Maybe someone will read and may have some info but if not then your probably right..... I do remember playing pool over there a while back and I was using the equivalent of a table leg for a cue

Thanks for the info mate, maybe I'll have an ask around when I get there but it seems 3 cushion and pool are the main games over there so the bats they use are probably not that great. I just thought if anyone knew then this forum would be one of the best places to ask. Thanks anyway.

As has been said, Vietnam doesn't really have a snooker scene. You'd be pushed to find a cue seller let alone a maker. Lots of pool halls and a couple of pool cue shop in the Ba Dinh district selling imported production cues (some high end predators, mezz etc). From a tourist POV I wasn't aware of Vietnamese made cues being sold, but a local may have a different take. There's a few Vietnamese guys on Azbilliards who may be able to help if you post on their forum.

After a bit more research it looks like you're pretty spot on. Oh well. Thanks guys. Suit ADR? Mate I'm Australian. It's all pluggers and footy shorts down here I'll check with Azbilliards for one last shot. Cheers Mark.
