  • Pool cue to a snooker cue conversion

Ive converted a pool cue to a snooker cue. I had trouble taking off the pool cue ferrule and managed to snap off the whole ferrule, it did not make much of a difference, just made the cue a fraction smaller.
My question is how to smoothly remove the white plastic ferrule?

If you don't want to save the ferrule then heat it up with a match or lighter (don't cook it, just heat it up a bit to loosen the epoxy or glue inside) and then with a pair of pliers twist it off. Works with brass ferrules too but you have to turn with the thread in case it's a threaded one.

Cheers terry I do do that normally with the brass but never tried it on the pool cue. Let you know how I get on..
